About the event
Let's celebrate the beauty of American bourbon! We will be featuring (4 or 5) of High West Distillery's sought after hand crafted bourbons and ryes. Featuring regional game meats and hand crafted cocktails.
High West Distillery was founded in 2006 by David Perkins and his wife, Jane. David, a former biochemist, was inspired to open his own distillery after seeing the parallels between the fermentation and distilling process and his own work in biochemistry during a trip to a whiskey distillery in Kentucky. In 2004, David and his family relocated to Park City, Utah to begin their new venture, where they began distilling in 2007. They chose Park City because of David’s love of the Old West and Utah’s little-known whiskey history.
Fossil Farms was founded in 1997 by Lance and Todd Applebaum, two brothers who once they tried game meat decided to raise their own ostriches and bison on the east coast! All of Fossil Farms animals are raised in open pasture, and fed a diet of natural forage and when necessary, a blend of vegetarian grains. Fossil Farms does not use any growth hormomones or steriods.
Our welcome reception begins at 6:30 pm and dinner will begin in our dining room at 7:00 pm. Advanced purchase is required. Tickets are $125 per person. For specific seating arrangements for smaller groups, please email us at info@thereddingroadhouse.com.
